Ballots are being mailed beginning on Monday, October 15th (they’ll be mailing through around October 19th, so don’t be concerned if you don’t get yours immediately.
This election, Coloradans will have a chance to decide if they want to live in a community where every child can reach their full potential.
Amendment 73 is the best opportunity Colorado has at making sure kids succeed.
It started with a small but mighty group of parents, teachers, activists, and community members, and it’s grown to a powerful coalition of nearly 70 inclusive and diverse groups (like us) and thousands of individuals across the state. Now, we need your help to make this vision a reality!

Colorado spends $2,800 less than the national average on each student — even trailing Mississippi and Alabama

Colorado has one of the fastest growing economies in the country, but middle and low income households pay MORE of their income in state and local taxes than the highest income households. Amendment 73 will begin to bring balance to our upside down tax code by having the wealthy, the top 8%, pay what they should on their income, and ensuring we have enough revenue to invest in the schools in our communities.
