Help Guide the
Jeffco Public Schools is in the process of a search for a new Superintendent. The Board of
Education voted to conduct a search for a new Superintendent on January 12. On January 26,
the search firm of Ray and Associates was selected, and now they are beginning the process.
Gathering community and staff input on what qualities the new superintendent should
possess will guide the screening of candidates and development of interview questions.
There are several opportunities to engage in the process:
The online survey is open now through Thursday, February 23. Simply
pick 10 of 33 characteristics you believe are important for the job, and
add any comments you’d like to share with the search firm.
After gathering input, Ray and Associates will begin screening candidates.
The goal is to have a candidate identified in May. For updates on the
process go to www.jeffcopublicschools.org.
