The work is just beginning!
The Jeffco Community came out in a huge way to get the recall on the ballot! More than 1200 people volunteered to carry petitions and the County Clerk certified over 30,000 signatures gathered in just 17 days for each petition to Recall Ken Witt, John Newkirk and Julie Williams!
Talk about amazing community grassroots efforts!
The first stock of Recall Yard Signs started going out of volunteer homes on Wednesday and as of Saturday afternoon, those signs are nearly gone!
But, we aren’t done! We need to reach the rest of the Jeffco voters who aren’t in our schools and think that they are NOT directly impacted by the actions of the school board majority. We know Jeffco supports our kids and public education, but we need to do a lot more work to educate the community and get the truth out there!
If you’ve never done the “walk, knock and talk”, you might be a little intimidated and think that this next step is not for you. There’s a first time for everyone and you’ll be trained and can walk with another lovely volunteer. It’s a good time and it’s great exercise! We are asking those of you new to this to be brave and come have those conservations at the door with our community. This effort is truly in your hands and we need everyone!

We Need Your Help Educating Voters
Starting September 12th, we will begin our door to door walk program to educate voters about what is going on in Jeffco Public Schools. We hope you will join us as often as you can. We have walks scheduled for every Saturday and one night a week.
We also have two huge walks scheduled for October 3rd and 10th where we hope to get enough volunteers to walk the entire county in those two days.
