The initial meeting with the district was an overwhelming success with a packed board room full of families wanting to discuss school start times! Now a task force is forming! You must apply by March 3rd!

School Start Time Task Force
“Research tells us that current school start times are not well aligned with the biological clocks for our secondary students. At the same time, changing start times is complex and involves considerations around athletics, activities, working students, and transportation. We hope to have a thoughtful and honest conversation on this topic and what’s right for Jeffco moving forward.” – Dr. Jason Glass

The initial information meeting about School Start Times was held Feb. 12, 2018. About 100 people attended.
TASK FORCE APPLICATION PROCESS
Jeffco Public Schools is now assembling a task force to look at the logistics and impacts of changing school start times across the district. Here is more from Dr. Glass about the task force. If you are interested in working with this team, applications will be accepted through Monday, March 5.
The goal is to have the first task force meeting before March 31.
