Remember the Town Hall?

Did you attend or hear about the Town Hall that Ken Witt held at the Lakewood Cultural Center?  It was mentioned briefly at a Board of Education Meeting but no details were available.  Just hours before the event, it was finally shared on Facebook but another special interest group was sharing it the day before the event.

We wondered who rented this room for the Town Hall.  Was it paid for with taxpayer dollars?  Was it funded by a special interest?  Thanks to CORA, we all have the answers.

$225 was paid for this room and here is the signed agreement:

But that’s not the end of the story.  Twice censured, former Jeffco BOE Member Laura Boggs paid for the room rental for Mr. Witt:

Per your request, please see attached a copy of the room rental agreement along with the facility sales receipt dated May 7th for Mr. Witt.

Karen Bode coordinated the room rental, and Laura Boggs made the payment.

This should fulfill your request.

Thank you.
