New Principals

Our principals play a huge role in setting school culture and a path of success for our schools. There are a number of transitions and changes again this year but it appears that we retained more administrators than we have in past years and the buzz in the community is excitement about Dr. Jason Glass joining us as our new Superintendent!

Thanks for your leadership and welcome to our new principals!

Here’s the scoop from Jeffco Schools:

Here are some fun facts about our new principals. Many should be familiar names, since 19 are from within Jeffco and one is returning to our district. The other three come to us from Denver Public Schools, Aurora Public Schools and Garfield RE2. All are experienced educators, with either principal or assistant principal experience. Speaking of assistant principals, ten have been promoted to a principalship and three are taking the reins at their current schools. Six aren’t exactly new, since they have served as the interim principal for the past year. They’ve done such a great job that they will now permanently take on the role. Thank you to the principals who are leaving or retiring for all you’ve done for our students. Best wishes to all the new principals and a great 2017-18 school year!
