Here’s an event Great Ed is hosting and we hope some of you may be interested!

As a Great Ed advocate, we want to make sure you are aware of this month’s Advocacy U: The Perfect Class on Friday, July 14 at 11am. Our goal is to empower you with the background and skills needed to advocate on behalf of Colorado students.

In this month’s workshop we tackle the question:  “What does an ideal classroom look like?”

Hear from local teachers and administrators how increased funding would impact their classrooms. Educators will address class size, coursework, room set up, technology, the arts, STEM and play.

Our guest speakers include:

Nina Ambruso
Science Teacher
Science Coordinator
Cherry Creek School District

Maria Lauer
Special Education Teacher
Cherry Creek School District

Niki Mitchell
Kindergarten Teacher
Douglas County School District

Sue-Lin Toussaint, Ed.D
Executive Director, Human Services
Mapleton Public Schools

There is no fee to attend. However, space is limited and registration is required.

We hope you will join us next Friday!

Sincerely,

Lisa Weil
Executive Director
